7/31/09: Notes for Tonight – Columbus vs. Lehigh Valley

Author: The Game – Today, the Columbus Clippers will be facing the Lehigh Valley IronPigs at 7:05 at Coca-Cola Park.
The Stats – Tonight’s game is the fourth and final game in a 4-game series between these three teams. The series, is currently lef by Lehigh Valley, at 2-1. It is also the 8th game in a 8-game away trip for Columbus, where they are 3-4. If Columbus wants to end both series even, they must win tonight.
Columbus is 46-58 putting them at last (4th) in the International League West. Lehigh Valley is 51-54 putting them in third (of 6) in the International League North.
Starting Pitchers – Tonight, the Clippers will be starting with RHP Carlos Carrasco (6-9) on the mound. The IronPigs are answering with RHP Pedro Martinez, who has no record at all.
