Who are our natural enemies?

  I would contend that humans are natural enemies to each other
  want to flesh this out?

  Black vs. White? Muslim vs. Christian? Republican vs. Democrat? A human becomes an enemy of another human by some learned concept created in the humans head. What can be learned, can be unlearned.

  We are the natural enemy of each other, due to our tribal nature. Just like all other tribes, we fight

  unless resources required for survival are scarce. but there is no scarcity of resources for humans to survive, for all practical purposes, indefinitely. This is true in any group of animals though and is a instinct survival reaction to a stimulus outside of the animals control.

  How about all that rainwater? The roof on your house collects enough water for a family of 4 in year at current consumption rates. Our current consumption rates are insanely high because our appliances are designed to use more than necessary so we pay more. So you pay someone, and pay tax, to have all the water on your property taken away, and then have it pumped back. On a typical 1/4 acre plot in suburban Ohio, with an average rainfall of 40 inches a year in ohio, that property will have almost 400,000 gallons of water fall on it.

  Not including roads, industrial buildings, or anything else. Those big ponds outside industrial buildings aren’t for employees to have something pretty to look at. They are to manage the rainwater from the building and parking lot.

  My household uses 50,000 gallons a year according to our water bill.

  That’s enough water for 8 families of 4 or 32 people. From a 1/4 acre. 11,500 sq. ft.

  There are 13 houses on my court. 3.25 acres. 149,500 sq ft. That’s 4,784,000 gallons of water a year. That’s enough for 95 households of 4 or 382 people.

  1 inch of rain on 1000 sq ft is around 800 gallons of water.

  Food shortage? Starving people? Next time you’re driving, look at all that grass growing. Then look at all the fields of corn and wheat that are destroying the soil and being used for feed for cows because the farmers can make more money that way. Instead of using it to feed humans. Not to mention the manufacturing of the equipment, the fuel used to harvest, transport 4-5 times thousands of miles and the manufacturing process of all those trucks. And it’s all unnecessary.

  Robert, think for one second. Our agricultural system is the most wasteful energy intensive process known to man. What are two of the main problems with our system? Run off and erosion. The majority of the water hitting fields runs right off and never gets used. By shaping the landscape to trap water and actually have it be used efficiently and store the excess, there is no water shortage. There will be a water shortage if we continue to drill the water table in the center of the country and pump water thousands of miles to water golf courses and lawns. All that water being used to water grass could be watering food.

  Also by planting a diverse field and gardens more moisture is trapped in the soil. 400,000 gallons on a 1/4 acre is plenty for the inhabitants of that property and their food. I saw a guys house in the middle of pasadena on a quarter acre plot that grew all his and his wifes own food with enough extra to sell. He only collected rainwater and they only get 14 inches of rain a year in Los Angeles. Just by using the space efficiently.

  1) this does not work in crowded areas
