LGB, but without the T?
As I explained a few weeks ago, I seem to like getting banned on online forums. This is because I take wild views, and stuff that is radical. For instance, today, a user kicked me out of his thread because I dared to suggest that Piracy is theft. Instead of debating, like he should have, he just assume that anybody who disagreed with him was wrong, and so he kicked me out. I was the 4th of 6 people that he banned, so it was not just me.
This seems very similar to a tactic that I talked about earlier.
Anyways, I normally am reported for talking about transsexuals in terms of GLBT, and that sort of stuff. Instead of setting myself up for more bannings, I have decided to post my full opinion here, and then just link them. Click on the nice little ‘continue reading’ link right before this to read it…
I personally do not believe that the term GLBT, which means Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transsexual, should exist. Before I explain why, I would like to point out that I have friends who are in all 4 categories (as well as straight), and that I do not believe anything but that they should not be clumped together. I do not believe that they should be discriminated against, abused, or anything like that. Trust me, I have been accused of that far too often.
I believe that they should be separate for the following reasons:
- Transsexual is not a sexual disorder, but a mental disorder
- They are discriminated against for different reasons
- As they are not the same, I am against grouping things that are not logically grouped
Transsexual is not a Sexual Disorder, but a Mental one
This is an argument that I normally take a lot of flack for using. According to biology, sex is determined by chromosomes (specific per species), not by what you believe that you are. Therefore, all transsexuals that believe that they are female when they are male are wrong. I will still call him a him, he a he, and she a she. I do not care what you think you are, that does not make you something else.
This is where the mental disorder part comes in. See, the concept of believing that you are something that you are not is definitely a mental disorder. Yet, in Transsexuals, the politically correct amongst us wish to label it as different then all other cases of this sort. Clearly, thinking you are male when you are female qualifies as a mental disorder, which is something that sexuality is not.
They are Discriminated Against for Different Reasons
Most people I argue with claim that even though they are different, Gays and Transsexuals are discriminated against for the same reason. They claim that it is because of social norms, and not for any other reason. Well, I have an issue with this, as they are not the same. Social norms are changing, and so that is illogical. Social norms dictate that women can not breastfeed in pubic, that children can not own spray paint, and that all teens are thieves. These are social norms, so why not include them in the GLB grouping? See the issue?
As they are not the same, I am Against Grouping Them
As most of you know, I go after PETA often for attacking/defending too many things at once. I am going to use the same argument here. In this case, it is clear that GLB is different than T. People are against T for different reasons than they are against GLB, and some people only support one group or another. Additionally, I already showed that Gay, Lesbians, and Bisexuals are sexual orientations, not mental ones. Clearly, this differentiates them.
So, why should we group separate things? I truly believe that by including groups that are not logically there, you only alienate specific groups, help, and demographics from your side. People are against Transsexuals even though they are for GLB, which harms your case. As with PETA, I believe that specifics are what is needed.
Now, to keep from being banned for this argument again (can you even see why I should have been banned???), I will simply be linking to this. I hope that you enjoyed reading it, and am looking forward to your responses.

Are you an elected official or are you merely working for one? Cause, I contribute to your party, and have an issue with you spending your work replying to myself.
That said, show me how i was broadcasting them offensively, OR, how they are poorly reasoned
